The city of Burgas is an administrative center, located in the largest area in Bulgaria - Burgas. The city is a perfect logistics center for the development of all kinds of tourist, cultural, commercial, and industrial activities. It has an airport, two ports (one of which is private), several bus and train stations. It is unfortunate that despite all the money poured into Burgas from EU programs, the state budget, and Bulgarian and European taxpayers, the city is becoming dirtier, less welcoming, increasingly depopulating, and unpromising.

Burgas has a tidy central part of the city, but it is still at the top of the classification of the cities with the lowest salaries in Bulgaria. The shops with signboards for rent on the main "Alexandrovska" street bear only the memory of once lively clothing boutiques. The trend is strongly represented in the side, parallel and perpendicular streets of "Alexandrovska".

Outside the city center, in the residential complexes of the Black Sea city, the streets are broken, unsupported, and the green spaces permanently flooded with uncleaned rubbish. There is the "other Burgas" - of crime, prostitution, drug sales, beatings, arsons, and wet orders.

Day after day, Burgas becomes depopulated due to a lack of perspective and low payment, which does not meet the taxes and fees' requirements of the local government under the pretext - "we are a European city". Last but not least is the condition of the environment and the air in which the city is located.
Every night, the constant release of harmful emissions into the atmosphere and the unpleasant suffocating odor, poisons and damages the health of the citizens of the former "Pirgos"- children, parents, retirees, students. All this adds to the already significantly increased intensity and hopelessness. Evidence for this is the new and expanding old cancer units, in line with the increasing number of cancer patients. At the same time, in the mandates of Dimitar Nikolov in Burgas, the most brutal and universal killing of trees took place.

The Bratovo landfill is also overflowing.

The cause for this posting on Liberta.bg is a photo sent to us yesterday by one of our readers. Otherwise, the reasons are many, and it will take us months to list them.

The photo with the overflowing, unrecycled, contaminated garbage ground, is from the Burgas residential complex "Lazur", known among the locals as the "elite" complex. Multiple contaminated containers are near a secondary and an elementary school, as well as a kindergarten.

Instead of dealing with the flaws in his administration, Burgas' Mayor and GERB Deputy Chairman Dimitar Nikolov dreamed of having a crematorium. Perhaps for those who left the earth's path suffering from fresh air.

Liberta.bg was informed that Mayor Dimitar Nikolov publicly stated in front of a wide range of people that he wants a crematorium in Burgas, and there shouldn't be any in Kameno.

The comments on Facebook by the most famous businessman in the region are proof that our media has been checked out by credible sources.

Here's what he writes:

... "the new municipal cemetery after complex M. Rudnik is planned to have a crematorium and the municipality is looking for a private company to build and operate it. There is some other intention about it being in the town of Kameno "...

And here is what is happening, while the Mayor of Burgas from GERB - Dimitar Nikolov is dreaming of an someone who would build a crematorium, the city will continue to depopulate and turn into a dirt bin, suffocated by the unclean air. From once a city with boiling nightlife, full of young people cafes, clubs, and discos, it's left one "fata morgana."

Today we sent the journalist Rositsa Spasova from this world! She was a longtime BNR correspondent in Burgas. Her diagnosis was pulmonary embolism. From fresh air!
